Frequently Asked Questions

If I want to upload my photo, what are the specifications?

If you are uploading a digital photo, it must be at least 300 DPI or approximately 1500px * 1500px (or higher). Size of the photo can usually be found under the properties of a picture file.

The actual print size (dimensions) of the photo must be at least the same size of the print area. It can be larger, we will adjust the size if necessary. The print size cannot be smaller then print area, otherwise the file will break up and loses it's sharpness.

Any differences of colors between my uploaded photo & the final products?

Due to the nature of the sublimation process there may be a slight shift in color versus your original graphic or as you see it on your computer screen. We use only first quality products. However, the process involves a heat press so the finished product might not appear as sharp as your original.

Awesome keys, awesome service

The keys feel so strong, they are thick and sound amazing, there's no shine-through at all and the texture is so nice on the fingers, you don't get any shining on them except for the bright colors you choose. The dye-sub legends are super crisp, and are legible even on the smallest details of the letters.

Some advice on your design. It's important to be aware of the colors to choose, since although they can print anything, the PBT material doesn't let all colors behave the same. SA Plastics colors should give a good starting point. The orange in my accents is simply gorgeous. It's also important to pay attention to the contrast between the key and the legends, it can make your legends seem thicker or thinner and there's no way of controlling this in the printing process, since it's an optic effect of the contrast of the colors itself.

There are no words to describe the after-sell service, the people at goblintech are super nice, they make everything to assure the keys are the best possible, with the only drawback of a somewhat long waiting period for producing and shipping. If you ever joined a group buy, though, 6 weeks is nothing for the quality they offer, and the price is just right.

You'll have the keycaps you always wished for in a unique design. I'm certainly working with them again in the future.
