Where is Goblintechkeys located? Do you have a physical store?
We are based in Malaysia and currently operate exclusively online.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Please refer to our Refund Policy for questions regarding order changing, order cancellation or refunds.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping time starts after production is completed and the parcel is dispatched. Standard shipping usually takes 2-3 weeks, while express shipping takes 5-7 working days. However, shipping speed can vary depending on factors beyond our control, such as customs clearance, weather delays, and holidays, which can impact delivery times.
Where do you ship to?
We ship internationally.
Where do your products ship from?
Our products are shipped from Malaysia or our overseas logistics partner at China.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs vary based on your location and will be displayed on the checkout page.
Why my parcel status shows ‘label created’ and has not been updating?
If your tracking status shows ‘label created,’ it means your parcel has been dispatched and is in transit. Since we are based in Malaysia, our shipping process to the United States involves sending a large parcel containing multiple smaller parcels to our US warehouse. Once it arrives, it is handed over to USPS for final delivery. The tracking information may appear stagnant because the label is generated before the parcel is sent to the US. Rest assured, your package is on its way and will be delivered to USPS for final delivery once it reaches our US warehouse.
Will I be charged for custom fees and import duties on international shipments?
All customers are responsible for any customs fees, taxes, and duties. Any import duties and taxes are charged once the package has reached the destination country and these charges must be paid by the recipient of the package. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges as customs policies vary from country to country. If you have questions related to customs charges you are advised to contact your local customs office.
What if my package is lost or stolen?
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We recommend shipping to secure locations where someone can receive the package. If your package is marked as "Delivered" or shows a final scan, we cannot file lost-in-transit claims or offer refunds.
Are our keycaps universal?
Our keycaps are generally compatible with mechanical keyboards that feature MX-style switches, which have a cross-shaped (+) stem. However, please note that our keycaps are not suitable for low-profile keyboards. If you are unsure about whether or not our keycaps will fit on your keyboard, please contact us via sales@goblintechkeys.com
and we will check for you on this.
What to do if my keycaps are warped?
PBT keycaps can sometimes warp or shrink slightly as they cool after being removed from the mold, resulting in a bent spacebar or an uneven key. To fix this, you can gently flatten a warped keycap using heat— a hairdryer, hot water, or a heat gun (on low) will work. Just be sure to press the warm keycap against a flat surface gently, doing it gradually to avoid damaging or snapping it once it cools.
What should I do if the switches are bent?
All mechanical keyboards with hot-swappable sockets have the risk of the pins bending out from the contacts in the sockets. Some switches are more vulnerable than others due to pin thickness. If your switches are bent, you can easily straighten the pins and reinsert the switches, which should function normally afterward.
What are ‘Barebones’ keyboards?
Barebone keyboards do not include switches or keycaps, but they do include the keyboard case, PCB, and stabilizers.
Why is there a color offset in the outcome?
Our keycaps are created using a process called dye sublimation, which involves transferring dye onto the keycaps using high heat
and pressure. This process ensures the durability and vibrancy of your design
but can result in slight color offsets due to the following reasons:
Heat and Pressure Variability: Any minor inconsistency in temperature or pressure during the sublimation process can affect the color outcome.
Color Profiles and Calibration: The colors seen on a digital screen (RGB) may not perfectly match the printed colors (CMYK), even with calibration efforts.
Environmental Factors: Humidity and ambient temperature during the sublimation process can impact the final color.
We understand how important it is for your custom keycaps to look exactly as you envisioned. Our team of designers and production experts work diligently to ensure that the final product is as close to your design as possible. Despite these efforts, slight color variations are a natural part of the dye sublimation process and are often unavoidable. If the color offset significantly impacts your satisfaction, please contact us via sales@goblintechkeys.com with the images of the item you received, we will inspect further and work on a solution.
How long is the production process?
For custom orders, production typically takes around 10-15 working days. If you’ve opted for our 'Goblintechkeys Design For You' service, it takes approximately 20-25 working days for our designers to prepare a mock-up for your preview and approval. Once you approve the design, production will begin, taking a few more days.
Warranty
We provide 6 months warranty for our keyboards. Our warranty covers any defects caused during production but does not cover regular wear and tear, including damage due to abuse, improper use, modding, or water damage. It also does not cover cosmetic damage to packaging caused during shipping. All issues are subject to inspection by the Goblintechkeys team.
What if my keyboard is having problem?
If your keyboard is having issues, try resetting it and ensure that the pins of the switches are straight when inserting. If the problem persists, please take a video of the issue and email it to us at sales@goblintechkeys.com for further assistance.
What keycaps profile does Goblintechkeys offer?
We currently offer only the Cherry profile for our keycaps.
